A Special Meeting of the Council was held on Monday August 2nd 1886 at 3 o’clock, p.m.
Present His Worship the Mayor, Aldermen Balfour, Cordiner, Dunn, Griffith, E.P. Hamilton and Northcott.
account of three hundred and fifty dollars and seventy cents ($350.70) as freight charges on the new Fire Engine from Brussels to Vancouver was read.
Moved by Alderman Balfour seconded by Alderman E.P. Hamilton that the Mayor and City Clerk be instructed to issue an order on the Acting Treasurer for the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars and seventy cents $350.70 to pay freight on Fire Engine. Carried
The Council then adjourned
