Vancouver August 10th 1892
The Council met on Wednesday August 10th 1892
Present:His Worship, the Mayor and Aldermen Anderson, Connon, Collins, Scoullar, McCraney, Franklin, Odlum and Gavin.
The object of the meeting was to consider the proposed Bonus to the Burrard Inlet and Fraser Valley Railway Co but after considerable discussion it was decided to consider the By-Law informally.
Aldermen Anderson then moved. Seconded by Alderman Gavin
That the By-Law be read a second time on Monday next.
The Council then adjourned and considered the Bonus By-Law informally.
After the By-Law discussion ceased, Dr. David appeared before the Council to endeavour to induce them to have outside smallpox cases put into the City Pest House.
