Vancouver Feb 18th 1889

The Council met on Monday February 18th 1889 at 7:30 P. M.

Present His Worship Mayor Oppenheimer, Aldermen Brewer, Brighouse, Clark, Costello, Horne, Lefevre, McConnell, Oppenheimer, Salsbury and Whetham.

After the Clerk had called the Roll, Alderman Salsbury asked to be heard on a question of Privilege, which was granted.

A lengthy discussion was entered into which finally ended in an adjournment without any business being done, five of the Aldermen having left the Council Board thus leaving no quorum.
