Vancouver Jan 6th 1890
The Council met on Monday Jan 6th 1890 at 11 A. M.

Present His Worship, the Mayor and Aldermen Brewer, Brighouse, Clark, Costello, Horne, Mason, McConnell, Salsbury, Oppenheimer and Whetham.

The Minutes of last meeting were read and adopted.

The Chairman of the Board of Works, Park Commissioners, Health Committee and Police Committee submitted their Annual Reports which were read and filed.

Motions

Moved by Alderman Costello, seconded by Alderman Mason. That John Clough be paid fifty dollars as compensation for services rendered in and around the City Hall. Carried.
The Mayor made a few closing remarks after which the old council retired.
