Vancouver March 4th 1887
A Special Meeting of the City Council was held on Friday March 4th 1887 at 7.30. P.M. for the purpose of reading Health By-Law.
Present Alderman Alexander, Hamilton, Humphries, Lefevre, Lockerby, Mannion, David Oppenheimer, Isaac Oppenheimer and Sanders.
Moved by Alderman Hamilton seconded by Alderman Lefevre
that Alderman Alexander be appointed Chairman in the absence of the Mayor.
Carried.
The Council went into Committee of the Whole on Health By-Law on motion of Alderman Hamilton seconded by Alderman D. Oppenheimer with Alderman Lefevre in the Chair and the By-Law taken up where it was left off.
After reading the By-Law clause by clause the Committee rose to report By-Law as amended in Committee on motion of Alderman I. Oppenheimer seconded by Ald. Hamilton.
The Council then adjourned.
