Vancouver March 15th 1895
The council met on Friday March 15th 1895 at 7.30 P.M.
Present His Worship, the mayor, and full Board
of Alderman.
Moved by Alderman Gallagher
Seconded by “ Bethune
That the Council go into Committee of the
Whole for the consideration of the resolution re the am-
algamation of certain civic offices.
Carried
Alderman Wm Brown was appointed Chairman
Moved by Alderman Gallagher
Seconded by “ Coupland
That the clerical work in the water
Works Department, and the Poll Tax collector be placed
under the Treasury Department. Be it further resolved
that G.F. Baldwin be placed in charge of the Finance
and Treasury Department.

That the position of Health In-
spector and Plumbing Inspector be amalgam-
