The Council met on Thursday November 28th at 9 A.M.
Present – His Worship, the Mayor and Alderman Shaw, Coupland, Queen, Gallagher, Clandenning, Brown, Sanders, Bethune and McDonald
Moved by Alderman Brown
Seconded by “ Clandenning
That the Council go into Committee of the Whole for the reconsideration of the Electric Lights By-Law and Agreement.
Carried.
Alderman Brown was appointed Chairman
After reconsidering the By-Law and Agreement in Committee of the Whole, it was moved by Alderman Bethune that the Committee rise and report the By-Law and Agreement complete with amendments.

Seconded by “ Bethune.
That the By-Law as read and approved by the Committee of the Whole be reconsidered and read a 3rd time and finally passed.
Carried
The By-Law was accordingly read a 3rd time.

Seconded by “ Clandenning
That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the agreement between the City of Vancouver and the Western Electric Light Heat and Power Company Ltd Liability as approved and affix the Corporate Seal thereto.
Carried.

That John Brenton be appointed to take care of the Market Hall until the Council decides as to what is to be done in regard to the Market and that his remuneration be fixed at $2.00 per day. Carried
