Vancouver September 26th 1888

A Special meeting of the Council met at the City Hall on Wednesday September 26th 1888 for the consideration of the By-Law appointing a Park Committee.

Present His Worship the Mayor, Alderman Alexander, D. Oppenheimer, Dougall, Lefevre, Humphries & Brighouse.

On motion of Ald. Lefevre seconded by Ald. Brighouse the Council went into Committee of the Whole on the Park Committee By-Law with Ald. D. Oppenheimer in the Chair.

The By-Law having been numbered 68 at previous sitting of the Committee was read over clause by clause after which the committee rose to report By-Law complete.

The By-Law was then read a third time on motion of Alderman D. Oppenheimer seconded by Alderman Dougall and passed and ordered signed, sealed & engrossed.

On motion of Ald Lefevre seconded by Alderman Dougall, Aldermen Coldwell, Alexander and Brighouse were appointed as members of the Park Committee from the City Council for the year 1888.

On motion of Alderman Humphries seconded by Alderman Brighouse H. P. McCraney Esq was appointed a member of the Park Committee for the year 1888.

On motion of Alderman Alexander seconded by Alderman Humphries A. G. Ferguson Esq was appointed a member of the Park Committee for the year 1888.

On motion of Alderman Humphries seconded by Alderman Brighouse Capt.

R. G. Tatlow was appointed a member of the Park Committee for the year 1888.

The Council then adjourned.
