Vancouver September 30th 1893

A Special Meeting of the Council was held on Saturday Sept 30th 1893 for the purpose of considering the collection of taxes for 1893 and other business.
Present His Worship, the Mayor and Alderman Salsbury, Collins, Cargill, Franklin, Hobson, and Towler.

Moved by Alderman Cargill
Seconded by “ Salsbury
That a further extension for payment of Taxes subject to the rebate of 20 per cent be made to 10th November 1893. This extension of time to be final and after that date the payments of the 20 per cent be enforced.

That the Manager of the Bank of British Columbia give the City Solicitor access to the deeds deposited with the Bonds and to withdraw any papers on the order of the City Treasurer relating to the investment of the sinking fund account.
