Council refuses (by one vote) to reimburse former Mayor Oppenheimer $500 spent out of his own funds on City business. A.M. Beattie proposes to lease the Market Hall. The By-Law to change the name of Oppenheimer Street to Cordova Street was defeated on the second reading.
