FOURTH MEETING OF COUNCIL

The Council met in the usual place on Monday May 17, 1886 at 7:30 P.M. His Worship the Mayor in the Chair. Present Aldermen Balfour, Caldwell, Griffith, Humphries, L.A. Hamilton, E.P. Hamilton and Northcott.

The minutes of last meeting read and adopted.

Communication was read from Alderman Balfour asking for two weeks leave of absence. Granted.

Applications for Liquor Permits from Mr. Martin referred to License Commissioners. Moved by Alderman Coldwell seconded by Alderman Humphries that the council adjourn to meet again in the usual place on Tuesday evening May 18 at 7:30 P.M. Carried.
