Vancouver November 19th 1895
The Council met on Tuesday November 19th 1895 at 730 pm
Present – His Worship, the Mayor and full Board of Aldermen.
The representatives of the Western Electric Heat and Power Co were also present.
Moved by Alderman Brown
Seconded by “ Bethune
That the Council go into Committee of the Whole with the Mayor in the Chair for the consideration of the agreement for lighting the City.
Carried
The agreement was read over clause by clause and discussed.
It was then moved by Alderman Shaw
Seconded by Alderman Brown.
That the Committee rise and report progress and ask leave to sit again.
Carried.
The Council then adjourned
